Malta and Moldova develop cooperation on personal data protection

The National Center for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Moldova and the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner have signed an agreement. The supervisory authorities of both countries wish to develop and promote good practices in the protection of personal data. The agreement provides for various activities to drive the exchange of information between the authorities on the application of standards and recommendations in the field of personal data protection. In addition, cooperation on training and enhancing professional competences is also to be expanded – the supervisory authorities want to set up an exchange programme for officials.
