Fake recruitment messages

Recently we have been observing increasing activity of the so-called phishing campaigns with the aim of phishing for data. These campaigns are based on sending SMS messages informing about the necessity to pay debts or authenticate accounts on Internet services. Messages from banking and postal service providers, including courier companies, are most used. However, phishing methods are constantly being improved and changed.

One of the latest methods is sending recruitment offers that guarantee a quick income. Many iMessage users have received messages from Russian domains offering to take an easy and lucrative job. For more information, they were referred to contact via WhatsApp, using the link sent. Then, the spammer encourages you to create an account on the website provided by him. The entire process turns out to be a financial pyramid, as after logging in, a deposit of a certain amount is required, which is supposed to increase in value after a suitable period. Apart from the obvious risk of losing money, the possibility of data theft should also be considered, as well as the high probability of malicious software being installed by entering an unknown link.
